Child Murder Won’t Help Israel Escape Doomed Fate

MojNews,“۱۵ Palestinian children were martyred in the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza. The child-killing Israeli regime cannot escape its inevitable fate of failure and decline by killing innocent children,” Nasser Kanaani said in a post on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

“Undoubtedly, the brothers and sisters of these children will see the freedom of their homeland from the cruel invaders in the near future. Is the morning not near?” the Iranian spokesman added.

On Friday, the Israeli regime and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad declared a truce, raising hopes of an end to three days of Israeli bombardment in Gaza that has killed at least ۴۴ Palestinians, including ۱۵ children.

While both sides had agreed to halt the fighting, each has warned the other that it would respond with force to any violence.

Israel on Friday launched its heavy bombardment of Gaza, flattening buildings and striking refugee camps across the territory. The Israeli military said it has been targeting members of the Islamic Jihad, including the group’s senior commanders, but according to Palestinian officials, almost half of the ۴۴ people who died have been civilians.

At least ۳۵۰ Palestinian civilians were also wounded.

Islamic Jihad responded by firing hundreds of rockets into Israel. The Zionist regime’s emergency services said three people in Israel were wounded by shrapnel, while ۳۱ others were lightly hurt.

The fighting was the worst in Gaza since an ۱۱-day war last year that killed at least ۲۵۰ people in the impoverished coastal enclave and about ۱۳ people in Israel.
