Damascus

Militant-affiliated news websites reported on Saturday that the Syrian Army has forwarded a long convoy of armored vehicles and tanks along with a large number of fresh soldiers to the last bastion of the terrorists in the Western part of Damascus province.

The websites reported that the army has sent ۲۱ tanks, ۱۶ BMP armored vehicles and tens of military vehicles along with a large number of forces to areas surrounding the militant-held town of Beit Jinn in Western Damascus.

Beit Jinn has been considered as the last stronghold of the terrorists in the Western part of Damascus province after their comrades in Darayya endorsed a peace agreement with the army last year.

Local sources in the Southern outskirts of Damascus city reported earlier on Saturday that a large number of terrorists are about to leave their positions in al-Qadam district for Northern or Northwestern Syria following conclusion of an agreement with the Syrian Army.

Local council of al-Qadam district announced in a statement that the terrorists deployed in the al-Madeniyeh, Bour Saeed and al-Majmah al-Sana&#۳۹;ei regions have reached an agreement with the army.

The council further said that the gunmen along with their family members are to leave al-Qadam for militant-held regions in Idlib or Jarabulus in Northern Syria on Tuesday and Wednesday based on the newly-inked agreement.

Hama

The Syrian Army troops engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay&#۳۹;at or the Levant Liberation Board) in Southeastern Hama on Saturday and managed to fend off their offensive.

The army men engaged in fierce clashes with a group of Al-Nusra terrorists that tried to prevail over the pro-government forces&#۳۹; positions in Tal (hill) Malheh via their positions in al-Mazire&#۳۹;eh.

The army soldiers repelled the Al-Nusra offensive, killing and wounding a large number of militants.

Relevant reports said earlier on Saturday that the army troops continued to hit the positions and movements of ISIL and Al-Nusra Front in Eastern and Northern Hama, killing and wounding a large number of terrorists and destroying their military hardware.

The army&#۳۹;s artillery and missile units shelled a group of ISIL that intended to leave Eastern Hama for Al-Nusra-held regions in Idlib via Wadi al-Azib road, killing all the ۲۰ members of the group.

In the meantime, the artillery units opened heavy fire at fleeing members of Al-Nusra in the village of Skeik in Northern Hama, destroying a tank and killing or wounding a number of the militants.

Raqqa-Deir Ezzur Border

The Syrian Army troops continued their advances against ISIL terrorists in the Western and Northwestern parts of Deir Ezzur province on Saturday, seizing control over several regions between the provinces of Deir Ezzur and Raqqa.

The army units pushed ISIL back from the town of Ma&#۳۹;adan in Southeastern Raqqa, and Masaha Ma&#۳۹;adan, Wadi Abu Jabli, al-Suwieda and Bu Issa regions at Raqqa&#۳۹;s provincial border with Deir Ezzur.

Field sources confirmed that the army soldiers that were advancing in Western Deir Ezzur have now joined their comrades deployed in Raqqa province.
