MojNews_ The Turkish Foreign Ministry said after talks with NATO deputy foreign ministers that Ankara and Washington would remain in "close coordination" as they work for a diplomatic solution to Russia&#۳۹;s military operation in Ukraine.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement after talks between Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Onal and US counterpart Wendy Sherman in Ankara that the two countries "reiterated their support for Ukraine&#۳۹;s territorial integrity and sovereignty."

According to Reuters, the ministry said in a statement:

The importance of remaining in close coordination to manage the multilateral effects of the crisis and to support a diplomatic solution was stressed, and the two sides also discussed bilateral relations.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry explained:

The common will to deepen bilateral cooperation was reaffirmed through sustained and institutionalized dialogue, and it was stressed that despite persistent disagreements on some issues, Turkey and the United States have a broad, positive agenda.
