MojNews-Iran special envoy for Afghanistan, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, held talks with Pakistani officials in Islam Abad. 

Kazemi Qomi met with his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Khan Durrani and Pakistani Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani. 

The discussions centered on the latest regional developments, bilateral cooperation, and the evolving situation in Afghanistan.

Foreign Minister Jilani reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to peace and stability in Afghanistan and stressed the importance of enhanced coordination among regional countries to achieve this goal.

He underscored the crucial role of Afghanistan's neighboring nations in fostering a peaceful and stable regional environment.

Kazemi Qomi, during his meeting with Durrani, further explored avenues for strengthening bilateral ties, the current state of affairs in Afghanistan, and regional trends towards peace.

The Iranian envoy's visit to Islamabad was at the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart.

In mid-summer, Durrani had traveled to Iran for bilateral discussions with Tehran.
