MojNews-The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia has said that Iran strongly supports the territorial integrity of countries in the region.

Mehdi Sobhani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia, said on Saturday regarding the " Zangezur corridor ", Iran's official position is that the integrity of the countries in the region must be preserved.

Sobhani stated that,"The position of the Islamic Republic of Iran is that we cannot accept the change of geographical borders by any means."

He added, "Any changes in the lands should be based on the mutual recognition of the territorial integrity of the two countries, and this is our final position."

Senior officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran have repeatedly stated that they are against any change to internationally-recognized borders.
