MojNews-Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler  Fardin Hedayati wins gold medal at 2024 Zagreb Open. 

Hedayati started the competition with a 9-0 win over Laszlo Darabos from Hungary at 130kg Round of 32.

He emerged victorious over China’s Wenhao Jiang 3-1 in Round of 16.

Hedayati beat Oscar Pino from Cuba 8-2 in quarterfinals and also booked his place in the final after defeating Lithuanian Mantas Knystautas 8-0.

Hedayati beat China’s Meng Lingzhe 3-1 in the final match.
