MojNews-Iranian wrestlers gained 7 medals at a tournament in Bulgaria. 

Iranian wrestlers finished the Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov Tournament held in Sofia, Bulgaria with seven colorful medals.

Iranian wrestlers in both freestyle and Greco-Roman categories achieved seven medals in total - five gold, one silver, and one bronze.

In Greco-Roman, Mohammad Naghousi, Gholam-Reza Farrokhi, and Amir-Reza Akbari won gold medals in the 82 kg, 77 kg, and 97 kg weight categories respectively, while Mohammad-Reza Geraei grabbed a silver medal in the 72 kg category.

In freestyle wrestling, Abbas Ebrahimzadeh and Mobin Azimi both won gold medals in the 65 kg and 86 kg categories respectively. Meanwhile, Yasin Rezaei secured a bronze medal in the 61 kg weight category.

The Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov Tournament was held in Sofia, Bulgaria from March 7-11, 2024.
