UN Security Council condemned violence in Sudan
The UN Security Council strongly condemned violence against civilians in Sudan.
MojNews- The UN Security Council condemned the recent violence in Sudan and called for the immediate cessation of violence against civilians.
In a statement, the council۳۹;s members highlighted the "importance of respect for human rights and of ensuring full protection of civilians, accountability and justice".
It follows a statement earlier in the day by the Central Committee of the Sudanese Doctors , which said at least ۱۱ people were killed and ۲۰ others wounded Monday when the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a faction of the army, opened fire on residents in Central Darfur state .
The council reaffirmed its strong commitment to the unity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Sudan.
