MojNews- Amir of Qatar will pay a two-day state visit to Pakistan this weekend, Islamabad said on Friday.

" Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is visiting Pakistan on June ۲۲-۲۳ on the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan ," a foreign ministry statement said.

Durning his stay in Islamabad, Al Thani will hold talks with Khan and President Arif Alvi to "discuss ways and means of building a robust and mutually beneficial economic partnership".

Several memorandums of understanding or agreements "for enhanced bilateral cooperation in different areas" are expected to be signed between Islamabad and Qatar .

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs didn&#۳۹;t explain the details of expected agreements between Doha and Islamabad.

Earlier Pakistani officials claimed that the Qatari Amir likely to announce major investment in Pakistan during his visit to Islamabad.
