MojNews-An Iranian military advisor was martyred by Zionist Regime attack on the port city of Banias. 

Reza Zarei, a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, lost his life in the attack.

Multiple powerful explosions rocked the city of Banias and its surrounding areas in northwestern Syria on Friday. 

Witnesses reported seeing flashes originating from the Mediterranean Sea before the explosions, raising questions about the source of the blasts.

Although authorities have yet to confirm the cause of the explosions, Banias has previously been targeted by Israeli forces.

Reza Zarei, identified as one of the guards of the 1st region of the IRGC Navy, becomes the third martyr from Hormozgan province.

It is noteworthy that the recent airstrikes on Banias mark the fourth Israeli air attack on Syria within the past 48 hours.

Banias, situated in Tartus province, Syria, is a small city and port located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It lies 55 km south of the port of Latakia and 40 km north of the port of Tartus.
