A representative of Venezuela 's opposition leader Juan Guaido said: the government and opposition will resume talks this week to resolve political unrest in the South American country.

However, according to the Washington Post, Carlos Vecchio did not specify the date and venue of the meeting.
Speaking at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, Carlos Vecchio said he expects a resolution to the impasse by the end of the year, adding that Venezuela۳۹;s President Nicolas Maduro is "an obstacle for peace" and that he must leave the office.
Hampered by opposition from the Venezuelan army and popular challenges to his legitimacy, opposition leader Juan Guaido ۳۹;s delegation took part in Oslo and Barbados initiatives for talks with the government.
